ICULTA 2021 - Save the new date!

The ‘International Conference on UV LED Technologies & Applications – ICULTA’ has been rescheduled to next year and will be held from April 18 to 21, 2021 in Berlin, Germany. Once more, it offers a forum for exchange, networking and discussions on the latest progress and innovations in the development of UV LEDs and their broad spectrum of applications. Additionally we look forward to the opportunity to discuss the impacts of COVID19 on UV LED technology solutions.

Details of the rescheduled event are still being planned. We will provide you with further information in the coming weeks.

For your information in advance:

  • Registrations already made for ICULTA 2020 remain valid.
  • We plan to keep all accepted presentations, in case the authors want to hold them next year as well.
  • Furthermore, there will be a new "Call for Abstracts" in late summer this year.

ICULTA 2020 is postponed

The Senate of Berlin has decreed that all conferences with more than 50 participants must be canceled. We regret to inform you that ICULTA cannot take place in April 2020 as planned but needs to be postponed.

We are in the process of figuring out a new date and ask for a little patience in this respect. We will keep you informed.

ICULTA 2020: Up-to-date information related to coronavirus

ICULTA 2020 is still planned for April 26-29, 2020 in Berlin. We are continuing to monitor decisions of the Public Health Authorities of Berlin as well as reports and recommendations from The Robert Koch Institute, the government’s central scientific institution in the field of biomedicine and the most important body for the safeguarding of public health in Germany.

The safety and well-being of all our conference attendees is ICULTA's priority, and we look forward to seeing everyone in Berlin.

Tutorial abstracts are online

ICULTA 2020 kicks off with a half day of tutorials on Sunday, April 26, 2020. There will be three tutorials on UV applications - water disinfection, UV curing, and healthcare. One tutorial will cover UV LED measurement. The abstracts with more information are online now.

Two years after the first successful ‘International Conference on UV LED Technologies & Applications (ICULTA)’ the next conference will be held from April 26 to 29, 2020 at the MELIÃ hotel in Berlin, Germany. Once more, it will bring together pioneers, leaders, and experts from science and industry to discuss latest progress and innovations in the development of UV LEDs and their broad spectrum of applications. The conference is jointly organized by the German consortium Advanced UV for Life and the International Ultraviolet Association (IUVA).
